Stand up Double Reach

The Raymond reach truck wheel set-up is a tandem set-up. The wheels are mounted together in a link assembly, then placed in the “open toe” assembly extending from the front of the reach truck.

On the link assembly, a rectangular spacer spans across the two wheels. If this spacer gets bent or warped, it causes significant sidewear and grooving on the hub/polyurethane of the wheels.

Also, if the wheel link assembly is not mounted properly within the “open toe”, it will create sidewear with the edges of the front stabilizer. Finally, if the front stabilizer/”open toe” is warped, it could cause sidewear.
